Fractal Designs - This range of notelets is based on mathematical entities known as 'fractals'. (These are infinitely complex mathematical 'objects' that have a degree of 'self-similarity': in nature many real objects approximate fractal behaviour e.g. fern leaves, coastlines and clouds. The latter are one of the best examples and often demonstrate self-similarity when viewed at magnifications over a range of scales of seven orders of magnitude.)
