A Tai-Chi Breathing Exercise
SOME BENEFITS.
This is both a form of moving meditation and a breathing exercise. The complicated movements that are matched with the breathing are
absorbing and require (and therefore develop) concentration - thus there is no room in the mind for disturbing thoughts or distractions.
The breathing is slow and gentle with a tendency to slow. These two aspects make this exercise very calming, peaceful, restful and stilling.
The movements also feel very beautiful and graceful. This exercise, by virtue of its smooth, gentle movements, is also very good for many
joints and muscles (e.g. micro-circulation is improved) - for example the knees, elbows, and shoulder joints and associated muscles are gently used.
